Welcome to the Colorado Springs Chapter of the ACLU
The American Civil Liberties Union Colorado Springs Chapter is a
public-interest organization that focuses on civil liberties issues
such as First Amendment rights, privacy rights, and civil rights. We
defend the rights of individuals in this area, raise awareness about
civil liberties issues, and engage in lobbying and educational work in
the Colorado Springs community. Among other issues, our chapter has
been involved with freedom of speech and the right to demonstrate,
religious freedom, separation of church and state, and gender
equality.
We are a chapter of the
ACLU OF COLORADO, an affiliate of the National ACLU.
